DIECAST MODEL BIKES

The Kawasaki Z900 has a history as a mega bike from the 1970's and this 1:12th scale diecast model from Minichamps is an exact replica of the real thing.

Yoshimura is perhaps the worlds best known tuner, and this model is the Kawasaki Yoshimura 750, they were mainly sold in Japan and America. The model is made by Wits of Japan and the quality is equal to Minichamps.

With the same running gear as the Z900 the 750 Z2 was made for local production in Japan, it only came in the Jaffa colour but was not as popular as its bigger cousin.

Built in 1978 the 6 cylinder CBX shocked the performance bike market, the 1046cc engine produced 105bhp and was the quickest, most powerful production bike in the world.

The Honda GL 1000 Gold Wing was first produced in 1974 with a four cylinder boxer engine, it soon became the must have touring bike, this is a great model from Minichamps in blue, with working suspension both front and rear.

After the success of the Minichamps Suzuki GT750 in gold, they have now released a new colour in candy lavender, with 3 cylinder two stroke engine and drum brakes this is one of the all time classics.

First made in 1976 the Yamaha XT500 soon proved to be a serious duel purpose bike, and was very popular all over the world. This is the later version with gold rims.

The three cylinder Triumph Hurricane from Minichamps is a very detailed and quality model.

First made in 1966 the Muench Mammut was the most expensive bike available, it was a real superbike with touring performance.

This Ducati GT 1000 diecast model bike is made by Autoart, the quality is equal to Minichamps with great detail and moving suspension etc. 

In its day the 1993 Yamaha Vmax with its 150 hp V4 engine was the fastest production bike made, this Minichamps model is a great example of this fine bike.
